The perfect alternative to a paper card!
This wood plaque is transformed into a “card’ for you to gift to a friend. The calmness of an ocean trip, enjoying the summer breeze, blue skies and no worries of time. I wrote this poem to convey this mood:
“Warm breezes of a summer’s day
and not a cloud in the sky
What better than to sail away
to time today I say goodbye”
Handmade paper in a geometric design, a piece of mesh-like blue fabric adorned with a glass and metal charm set the tone. A miniature picture frame was converted into a “porthole” using a convex piece of glass, showing a lighthouse seen from afar. There are 17 Swarovski blue crystals placed thought mimicking twinkling stars guiding the way home. The original poem was printed on white, shimmering specialty paper resembling the glistening tides.
